A good contract offers the opportunity to avoid unpleasant disputes and legal proceedings.

CONSTRUCTION LAW

CRIMINAL LAW
Many crimes are defined in the penal code. Others can be found in numerous special laws.
If you are prosecuted for a crime, you can count on our assistance.
We also provide the necessary assistance to parents of minors who have to appear before the Family Court, Juvenile Court Section.
We follow up the criminal proceedings for you, study your criminal file, request access to it if necessary and perform additional investigative actions. We of course check whether all procedural rules have been observed by the court. Finally, we ensure your defense before the council chamber/chamber of indictment and the criminal judge.
We handle the interests of those who have been definitively convicted before the Criminal Enforcement Court.
If you are the victim of a crime, our office will guide you through the procedure to ultimately obtain full compensation.
We are also responsible for the financial settlement of your file and the recovery of the awarded funds.

TRAFFIC LAW
Traffic law includes criminal defense before the police court in cases of speeding, hit-and-run, alcohol intoxication, drunkenness, unintentional assault and battery. We take this defense to heart for you.

LIABILITY LAW

These three elements, fault, damage and causal connection, are essential to the success of a potential liability claim or, failing that, to its defense.

We provide assistance in both the defense in the event of liability and in the preparation of complex claims for damages (e.g. in the case of personal injury). Conversely, we assist you in defending claims for damages.
COLLECTIVE DEBT SETTLEMENT
De collectieve schuldenregeling heeft als doel de financiële toestand van de schuldenaar te herstellen, met name hem in staat te stellen in de mate van het mogelijke zijn schulden te betalen en tegelijkertijd te waarborgen dat hij zelf en zijn gezin een menswaardig leven kunnen leiden.
Na een collectieve schuldenregeling kan je terug schuldenvrij door het leven.
Ons kantoor verleent U grondig advies wat een collectieve schuldenregeling inhoudt, hoe deze moet worden aangevraagd, hoe de procedure verloopt, aan welke voorwaarden U moet voldoen om toegelaten te worden (zo mag U geen handelaar zijn en niet binnen de vijf jaar voorafgaand aan het verzoek het voorwerp hebben uitgemaakt van een herroeping van de collectieve schuldenregeling)…en helpt U bij het opstellen van een verzoekschrift tot het bekomen van een collectieve schuldenregeling.
Voor de opmaak van het verzoekschrift brengt U navolgende stukken mee:

attest samenstelling van gezin (kunt U bekomen bij de bevolkingsdienst van uw woonplaats)

overzicht van Uw gebruikelijke maandelijkse (vb.huur/elektriciteit/gas/water…edm.) en jaarlijkse lasten (vb. personenbelastingen/autoverzekering/autobelastingen…edm.).

overzicht van al Uw schulden welke moeten gestaafd worden met stukken (vb. ingebrekestelling, gerechtsdeurwaardersexploot, openstaande facturen….edm.)
De Arbeidsrechtbank zal een schuldbemiddelaar aanstellen. Deze probeert in eerste instantie tot een minnelijke aanzuiveringsregeling te komen. Wanneer hij hier niet in slaagt, zal de rechter een gerechtelijke aanzuiveringsregeling of een totale kwijtschelding van schulden opleggen.
Van zodra je toegelaten bent tot een collectieve schuldenregeling, zal je niet meer zelf je inkomen ontvangen. De schuldbemiddelaar zorgt er in eerste instantie voor dat het gezin op menswaardige wijze kan leven. Zo worden de vaste maandelijkse kosten (huur/elektriciteit/water/schoolfacturen…edm.) vooruit betaald. Aan U zal een leefgeld worden uitbetaald, waarmee U in de dagelijkse behoeften van het gezin kunt voorzien.
Pas in tweede instantie zorgt de schuldbemiddelaar ervoor dat er een regeling wordt uitgewerkt om de schulden te betalen.
Bij ingrijpende veranderingen (vb. huwelijk of samenwonen, een erfenis, een vergeten schuld) kan het nodig zijn dat de lopende aanzuiveringsregeling moet aangepast worden. Dit noemt men een herzie-ning.
Eenmaal toegelaten staat ons kantoor U verder met raad en daad bij indien er zich moeilijkheden voordoen lopende de procedure.
